It's 10 PM, do you know what plug-ins you're running?

OK so perhaps your Yardi plug-in versions don't keep you up at night, but that's what we're here for.  Maybe you don't chant "Residential Toolbox P14, Residential Toolbox P13.9, Residential Toolbox P13.8..." while you're meditating like none of us would ever do (we listen and we do not judge) but it's a great idea to check in once in a while on what versions you're running and if it's time for an upgrade!

What are plug-ins? Great question!  Since Yardi has so many modules and so many functions, plug-ins are a way that they enable functionality, push out updates to client systems, implement system fixes, and integrate with vendors.  You can see how much impact a plug-in version could have on your users!

You don't have to be plug-in version obsessed, but there's a great step you can take to stay on top of them!  Users with client central access can run the Latest Releases Reports!  In client central just navigate up top to Reports --> Latest Release Notes. Select the webshare you want to run for -- typically this will be either your production (live) environment or a test environment, and then run.

After the report is generated, you'll get a very large and informative report of fixes and updates made to Yardi.  You can navigate section by section and see all the great updates available and out there, and most importantly you can navigate all the way to the end to see a table detailing what plug-ins you're running and what the most up-to-date plug-in available is.

Give a look over at that table and enter a support case in client central to have their team schedule an upgrade for you when you're ready!  A simple, easy way to make sure that you're staying up to date with all the latest and greatest Yardi has to offer.
