Job Description

We are looking for a consultant and account manager specializing in the YARDI™ Residential and New York modules. The person who fills this role will have demonstrated subject matter expertise in residential property management, property accounting, DHCR rent laws, NY vacancy and renewal lease workflows. Additionally, significant experience with YARDI™ Residential module implementations and ongoing client support is required. As a consultant and account manager, this person will be responsible for project management, leading and collaborating with a data validation team, serving as the point-of-contact for our clients, and managing and assigning work to other members of the BC Solutions team. Implementation and support experience, as well as knowledge of Maintenance, Commercial, and other YARDI™ modules, is a plus. While this position does not require SQL, YSR, and/or SSRS experience, the candidate should have a working knowledge of YARDI™ custom reporting options and be able to assist clients with the development of custom report specifications.


Experienced YARDI Professionals

YARDI Residential and New York Module Consultant / Account Manager


  • Implement and support the Residential and New York modules and other complimentary modules (PayScan, Maintenance, Rent Café)

  • Create and execute project plans and budgets

  • Work with clients to gather requirements and specifications for technical and non-technical projects

  • Assist clients with data collection, transformation, installation, and validation

  • Perform system and business efficiency process reviews

  • Design and complete user acceptance testing during major implementation and conversion projects

  • Complete training for key client staff on the Residential and New York modules and other complementary modules

  • Interface with BC Solutions leadership team to identify and capitalize on business growth opportunities


  • Five-plus (5+) years of experience in the industry, preferably in a consulting capacity, interacting with customers while managing projects on accounting, business process, property management, or real estate software

  • Experience working in residential property management, or with residential property management companies in a consulting capacity

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Real Estate, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of, and demonstrated experience in, property management and accounting

  • Excellent project management, verbal and written communication skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred Skills

​Technical skills such as SQL query development, YARDI™ custom report writing (SSRS, YSR, SQL scripted reports), Spreadsheet Server, and Power BI, are pluses.

​Remote. Travel expected as needed for on-site engagements and conferences (less than 20% travel anticipated)
